FORT LAUDERDALE THE BROKEN STOP!
AUGUST BURNS RED CONSTELLATIONS 10 YEARS TOUR – REVOLUTION LIVE – FT. LAUDERDALE FL.
Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale Beach FL played host to August Burns Red’s massive “Constellations” 10th-anniversary world tour, and boy oh boy these guys did not disappoint.
I’m calling this the Broken Stop because not only was the AC busted in the venue, but two out of three of the lead singers were hurt. The show started a little late because Silent Planets lead vocalist Garrett Russell was racing to the venue from the hospital and then Shane Told of Silverstein comes out with a broken arm. Despite their issues both bands killed it on stage and made sure the crowd was fired up for August Burns Red.
ake and the rest of the band took center stage and I thought the crowd were going to take the building down. A pit formed almost instantly with their opening song Thirty and Seven. By the time Existence started the pit was in full swing and the crowd surfers were being sent one after another.
To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Constellations they played all twelve tracks in order. The album was originally released back on July 14th 2009 with single being release a few months before on their Myspace page, that bringing back memories. One of their songs “Marianas Trench” was featured in the popular game sequel Rock Band 2. Even after ten years this album still hits home and the fans were more than existed to hear them live!
After the final song “Crusades” the crowd was eager for more and they were meet with incredible drum solo by Matt Greiner followed up by four additional songs. For a sixteen year old hardcore metal band these guys are still bringing the fire and destroying the stage. There are seven shows left for the Constellations Tour and implore you if you have the chance go see these guys!
