THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER – REVOLUTION LIVE – OCT. 8TH, 2019

On Tuesday, October 8th Fort Lauderdale Beach Florida was gearing up for a night filled with high speeds, blast beats, and growled vocals from the likes of Alien Weaponry, The Black Dahlia Murder “TBDM”, and Black Label Society.

This was my first time shooting TBDM but I was excited to see them perform, cause if they were anything like fellow Metal Blade Records artists Cannibal Corpse and Hate Eternal this was going to be a brutal night.

When the group hit the stage they look more like a punk band rather than a death metal group. That idea quickly changed when they began playing “Widowmaker” off their latest album “Nightbringers”.

“TBDM” played nine songs in total, just about one song from every album they’ve released since 2001 and the fans loved every minute of it. The pit grew far and wide, from end to end and they were sending people crowd surfing back to back, security didn’t get much of a break that night. It’s easy to see why TBDM have multiple Billboard 200 listings, they bring such energy with their stage presence and songs it can’t help but fire up the crowd.

I leave this article with this picture of a fan trying to find the owner of this shoe after the pit cleared.
